![]() ![]() ![]() I have gathered some ideas that, if implemented correctly, will **definitely** improve LoA along with making the playerbase much more satisfied with the product.įirst of all, the entire removal of the energy system would definitely improve the overall user experience, since it denies all attempts at playing the game once it's empty. But, with the developers realizing that and changing certain things, it has a chance to rise and shine. The game in it's current state is something that is definitely **not** worth investing any time into. To obtain cards that are actually useful and strong, you must purchase packs that cost **crystals**, which are magically summoned by sacrificing your wallet or by grinding for a long time (which is denied by the energy system, so ignore this option). The generic booster pack can be bought with **gold**, the free to play currency and contains weak to average cards, most of them being fillers you are definitely not going to use. This part contradicts the free-to-play element of the game, since after you run out of energy you have to pay to continue, unless you wait patiently.Ĭards can be obtained from the store by buying booster packs. Energy is restored by waiting patiently or by paying. The thing is, to battle, you need **energy**, one of, if not the most hated system ever implemented in video games. Countless card games have implemented a **very similar** combat before (for example, Tyrant and Kingdoms CCG) so it is nothing extraordinary nor exciting, but there is one unique mechanism this game has, and it is **runes**, special effects that activate under certain conditions to interfere with the battle. These cards have attack and health values, a cooldown before they could be played and sometimes, abilities as well. The core gameplay is pretty straightforward. You must be wondering: *why?* Let's find out together, shall we? But, just like most collectible card games out there on Kongregate (and in the gaming industry itself), it is **not**. ![]() The game itself looks well-designed, has a great anime style and could be an interesting game.
